Tamie Griffiths & her sister are the owners of 5678 Studio.
Their sweet mom, in the middle, worked at the studio and was like a mom to all the dancers.
They lost her to cancer but honor her with a scholarship in her name.
"JANET DOWNS MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP"
This scholarship was given to a little 7 yr old dancer from their studio named Alivia.
She was diagnosed with cancer and started chemo the same time as their mom Janet.
They shared a very special bond as they lost their hair together and all the other side effects.
Tamie Griffiths said that " Alivia is a very strong little girl with a lot of passion for life and dance, so it seemed only obvious that she get the scholarship in my mothers name so she could continue to

Kevin Brailsford - 2010 Sept to March 6th 2011
Kevin is the father of a dancer named Lizzy from The Pointe Academy. He fought a very difficult battle and unfortunately passed away March 6th, 2011 of a malignant brain tumor.
